We made it home in one piece and I'm sure you have some very tired boys/ you are very tired! Can I take this opportunity to thank all the boys for buying all the teachers presents and cards. It was such a kind thing to do and we were very touched. A very thoughtful gesture that was very much appreciated. You really are wonderful.
Also thank you to all parents for your kind words in regards to this blog. It is always nice to get feedback especially when it's so nice!

Good night!
Just stopped in a Swiss service station to get ready for bed. Some cleaning their teeth, others washing their face and a good few buying a burger?!?!?!? The perks of a trip with their mates.
We will be going to sleep now. My next blog entry will be tomorrow morning in Calais.
Good night.

Meal Stop.
Still in Italy and we have just stopped for a meal stop in a very posh service station. Last chance to have pizza in Italy and to get presents for home. Hopefully we will be in Switzerland soon.
Goodbye Italy! We are coming home.
The time has come to leave. Students spent the morning the way they wanted - some went back to the beach, some had EVEN MORE "help yourself" ice cream and I saw a good few boys flying by me while they were on a pedlo!
We have now left and are actually on the move. We left the hotel at 13.00, therefore currently ontime. I will update the blog thought our journey.

Santa Maria del Miracoli church.
In Mr Bridges' words "I have never heard you sound better"..... that has to be good! We sung most of our songs to a small audience but it was very intimate and special - one of the most memorable. All the people that watched had very complimentary things to say which made the experience it even better.
STOP THE PRESS: Richard Challoner choir flash mob'ed a crowded ferry on the way back to the hotel. Literally everyone went quiet to listen to "Only You" and we had a serious round of applause after. We nailed it!
On our final full day we are off to Padua Cathedra this morning for mass. Afternoon is a trip to an Aqua park and our final performance is in a local pizzeria - I have a feeling that is going to be great fun.
Some pictures of the day - sorry a little late, I was very tired last night!

Its a family affair, meet "the Bridges" - the rock to the choir!
The best groupies anyone would want. It made it special you came to watch us (and to buy some water for us). Thank you!

Off to the beach
Buon Giorno! Once again it's hot outside and we are going to hit the beach for a lazy morning. I hear laughter, singing and shouting - its safe to say we are in good spirits! Some students/teachers are going to chill out in a local cafe, relaxing Italian style. After recharging our batteries we are getting a hot lunch in the hotel before heading to Venice for a concert at the Miracoli church.
I will try to upload photos today but most likely it will be very late tonight as we are not back from the concert till 11pm. However watch this space!
Ciao!

Today. Our day trip in Venice - what a fab day it was. Full of memories.
Today we had a wonderful day in Venice. It was very, VERY hot but surprisingly not very smelly (we were told it might be a little wiffy!). Lots of pizza and ice cream ate by all, as well as lots of sightseeing. Many boys went on the famous gondolas and most went on adventures through the little streets in small groups.
We finished our day with a stunning choir performance at mass in the amazing St Marks Cathedral. Unfortunately we couldn't record or take photos of our performance. However we did have a few visitors (parents) who shared the experience with us. A lifetime memory.
A few photos below from the day:
